The main Secrets of Strixhaven (SOS) expansion features a total of 305 cards, which are numbered SOS 1 through 305. In addition to the primary set, you will find several exciting subsets to collect, including 65 unique instants and sorceries in the second round of the Mystical Archive (numbered SOA 1–65), 10 high-power Special Guest reprints (numbered SPG 149–158), and a dedicated group of cards found in the preconstructed Commander decks (SOC).

The set features a mix of returning fan-favorites and complex new designs.

• The Miracle keyword returns on cards like Lorehold, the Historian, letting you cast powerful spells for a fraction of their cost if they are the first card you draw in a turn.

The story of Secrets of Strixhaven moves beyond the classroom and into off-campus life on the plane of Arcavios. This Second Year follows our favorite protagonists Dina, Killian Lu, Quintorius Kand, Rootha Squallheart, and Zimone as they graduate and begin practicing their specialized magic in the wider world. To dive deeper into the lore, a new novel titled Strixhaven: Omens of Chaos by Hugo Award-winning author Seanan McGuire accompanies the set, following a new class of students arriving at the university through the interplanar Omenpaths.

The Silver Scroll foil treatment is a stunning, parchment-like effect returning from the Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth holiday release. In this set, it is exclusively used for the Japanese language versions of the Mystical Archive cards, which can be found as high-end Coleccionables within Collector Boosters.
